The program’s distinctive and flexible visual vocabulary changes from year to year and emphasizes the interplay between typography and three dimensional space.
In order to further this theme, the 2008 program utilized deconstructed outlines of letterforms. For 2007, the concept “subtractive void” was articulated through the use of layered type. The 2006 design utilized a mesh fabric motif that gave the program a tactile quality and maintained the general dimensional typographic approach. The first iteration of the program, in 2005, showcased layered transparent typography.

The comprehensive strategic branding and design compliment the classical, Renaissance style architecture by utilizing Palladian imagery, sophisticated colors, and specialized printing techniques.
A semiannual university newsletter developed by the CC 7/14, a student run activities group in Pratt’s Graduate Communications Design department. This alumni focused issue, titled “Your Next Move”, incorporated game motifs and included interviews, professional portfolios and an alumni survey.
